GET HELP WITH FOOD EXPENSES
CalFresh Food and the Women, Infants & Children program (WIC) can help individuals and families pay for food through an electronic benefit transfer (EBT) card, which works like a debit card. WIC also offers nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to healthcare and community services.

Additionally, families with children who are eligible for free- and reduced-price school meals can get one-time cash assistance through the Pandemic EBT program. More information here.
FIND FOOD NEAR YOU
Find free meals for youth and children by downloading the CA Meals for Kids mobile app. County agencies and partners that provide free groceries and meals for all ages are expanding their services during COVID-19. Click here to see options and find food distribution sites near you. Select programs also provide delivery.
FOOD DELIVERY FOR OLDER ADULTS
The state’s new emergency meal program assists older adults who are socially isolated and unable to cook their own meals. More information here.
